Founded in 2011, MPS brings decades of combined engineering, product, and deployment experience in offsite construction. Since inception, MPS has delivered more than 1400MW of critical power systems— and counting! Increasing demand has helped MPS branch into other markets including data centers, utility, agricultural, hospitality, and commercial office.
Simon Harkins provided design and construction services to some of the largest data center providers in the world utilizing both traditional and offsite approaches. Previously he served as Mission Critical Program Manager for a large electrical contractor and was involved with billions of dollars in master site planning, program development, and preconstruction in various regions of the United States. His main focus since 2011 is offsite construction and the development of new modular product. Prior to his current role, Simon served as Technical Director of a modular data center manufacturing company as well as Head of Product Development at MPS. Now as General Manager, he is instrumental in guiding business direction and maintaining focus on quality, value, and the customer experience.
Design & Engineering Manager
Mike Sweet started his career as a consulting engineer and project manager for nine years before joining MPS in 2013. He also served as an owner’s representative for a large data center developer, acting as the point of contact for design, construction, scheduling, and commissioning. This experience was invaluable in understanding customers' needs and what the phrase “complete product” really means. After joining MPS, Mike stepped into the Product Manager position where he played a key role in product development and implementation. He worked closely with factory, design, and project management teams to improve processes and product delivery. In 2017, Mike was promoted to Design and Engineering Manager and is now in charge of shop drawing production, customer design interface, BIM, drawing quality control, and product development.
Senior Project Manager
Victor Olmedo has been a Senior Project Manager for MPS since 2015. He manages multiple projects ranging from $500k to $25M in value. He heads MPS initiatives to establish industry-leading estimating, design, procurement, quality, finance, and production processes for all project managers.
Antwaun joined the IBEW LU 24 JATC apprenticeship program in 2000. He worked as a Journeyman Wireman since 2004 and served as a mission-critical QA/QC/Cx Manager for Rosendin Electric. Since joining MPS, Antwaun manages factory production, quality, and onsite commissioning support team to help redefine the scope of product delivery and increase value to customers.
Michael has more than 30 years of electrical experience in both industrial and commercial electrical projects. Since 2011, he has been involved in every aspect of integration and facility planning. He serves as the point of contact between the factory and office as well as liaison with the local IBEW. Michael helps lead the way with innovative installation methods while managing more than 100 employees. He manages supervision and construction activities with onsite foremen and area superintendents to ensure on-schedule and on-budget completion.
Supply Chain Manager
In his tenure at MPS, Rod has managed the supply chains for more than 100 project deployments with an annual spend exceeding $50 million. He has more than 20 years of experience in project and supply chain management with multiple Fortune 500 companies. Rod has a proven track record of helping organizations transition from startup phases to fully thriving operations by developing and streamlining processes and procedures. As part of management teams in the electronics manufacturing services industry, Rod was an integral part of leading companies through ISO 9001-2008, ISO 13485-2003, and ITAR registrations.
